My working week started Wednesday 5pm at the Harmony Oval food truck event in Atwell playing for the crowd with and open guitar case. My speakers powered by solar. The sound was immaculate as I had use of my house PA. While the sun shines, I have power. I was pleasantly surprised.
On Friday 5pm at the Exchange Hotel Pinjarra. The crowd joined in, singing along to favorites like “Sweet Caroline,” “500 Miles,” “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” and “You Don’t Treat Me No Good.” I truly enjoy how people engage in dancing and singing along when I perform these songs.
The next day I was up early for the Yangebup markets at Nicholson Reserve. I used the same PA set up and kicked off at 8am playing folky bluesy tunes and had some old friends come along and listen and enjoy the festivities. Such a positive vibe always at the markets.
On Sunday morning had a quick practiced before my gig at 12 PM at Bistro by the Dam, which is my favorite venue. The natural surroundings and beautiful atmosphere make it an incredible place to perform. That wrapped up my week of gigs.
